Jeff Smokevich Talks Detriot Pizza at Pizza Expo





In this follow up interview with World Class Pizza maker Jeff Smokevich we discuss how much he has discovered about the pizza industry. In the last interview Jeff discussed how he was called out by a customer about his Sicilian pizza. Jeff is a master of pizza including New York and Detroit Styles. He is the owner of Brown Dog Pizza located in Telluride Colorado as well as Blue Pan Pizza located in Denver. Here’s Jeff….

Jeff explains what is Detroit style pizza. It is very different from the round type of New York pizza. First it is cooked in a pan. Second certain types of different cheeses are used including brick cheese.
